Quantity Surveying Services
Quantity Surveying Service (widely referred to as ‘QS’ service) is the main service offered by the practice. This service has proved essential from the inception of the design process of any Project (Building / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure) regardless of its size and complexity. The practice breaks this (‘QS’) service into two large phases, these being namely:
Pre-Contract Services
The Pre-Contract Services Package consists of those services which experience has proved that are required prior to the Contract Award to the Successful Tenderer. This phase aims the following:
- Design to Budget
- Budget Management
- The most suitable Procurement Path is followed
- The Preparation of suitable Tender Documents
- Tender the Project appropriately
- Prepare suitable Contract Documentation
Post-Contract Services
The Post-Contract Services Package consists of those services which experience has proved that are required from the time a Contract Award takes place up to and including the stage of the Agreement of the Final Account of any Project. This phase aims the following:
- Respect the Budget
- Certify fair and reasonable sums of money
- Management of Change
- Administer the balance of Contract Provisions
- Administer Contract Procedures
- Correct Financial Reporting
- Agree fair and Reasonable Final Accounts to all parties
